Cilj projekta

The goal of the project
The goal of the MILEPORT project is to solve the poor accessibility of the last mile of Adriatic ports, which affects their integration into the respective cities and hinterlands, causing inefficiency of multimodal transport, weaker economic growth, higher traffic-related air pollution as well as greenhouse gas emissions.
In order to change this, cooperation on both sides of the Adriatic Sea is vital because the issues to be addressed are common and cover operational topics that cannot be addressed at the local level, given the global nature of traffic flows.
In order to achieve this, the partners will focus on digitalization, the creation of medium and long-term planning tools and testing of IT tools in Italy and Croatia, enabling the setting of common standards.
